Miyard's sister business is Flamingo Cantina, a live music venue located on Austin's historic Sixth Street. Flamingo Cantina hosts international, national and local artists nightly. Many of the touring artists stay at Miyard while in town for Flamingo performances.
On busy nights there are as many as four bars for your convenience. The main bar has full liquor service plus many imported, microbrewed and specialty beers. Tuesdays thru Saturdays with special shows held on Sundays and Mondays. Ages 18 and up are welcome; under 18 all ages shows are held periodically.
Hours: Most nights the club is open from 8:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
In keeping with the long tradition of Austin Golf, Lions Municipal Golf Course has served it's citizens since 1934 and has long been the city's most popular course. Constructed originally by the Lions Club in 1928, Lions has hosted notable golfers, including Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson and of course Tom Kite and Ben Crenshaw.
While "Old Muni" has changed over the years it remains a quality test but
very playable course. Even through the course would be considered short by
today's standards, 6001 yards, it's relatively narrow tree lined fairways
and small greens provides a challenge to even the longest hitters.
Reservations/Tee Times: Tee times for weekdays are taken 7 days in advance; Saturday and Sunday times are taken on Tuesday, all beginning at 7am.
Formerly known as the Austin Country Club, this beautiful 18-hole layout is rich in golf history. Designed by renowned architects J. Press and Perry Maxwell, this legendary course served as teaching grounds for golf icon Harvey Penick, as well as champions Tom Kite and Ben Crenshaw. A favorite among local golfers, Riverside Golf Course challenges and delights players of all skill levels with its mature trees and scenic water hazards.

Established in 1899, Hancock Golf Course stands today as the oldest golf course in the state of Texas. Located in the heart of Austin, this par 35, 9 hole course is a challenging layout with numerous carries up and down hills and over a beautiful creek that meanders through the course. The old course is relatively short by modern standards, featuring small, well manicured greens that are typical of the era in which it was built.
Reservations/Tee Times: Tee times are not required, however, reservations will be accepted for groups of four. Reservations are accepted one day in advance with the exception of reservations for Sunday, which may be made on Friday.

Located in the Texas Hill Country between Fredericksburg and Stonewall, Becker Vineyards was established in 1992 by Richard and Bunny Becker. The vineyard was planted on a site of native Mustang grapes much prized by its German neighbors and their ancestors for its wine. Also, planted is a lavender field reminiscent of the wine country of Provence, France.
Becker Vineyards is open for tasting, tours, wine gift purchases, and picnics. We invite you to join us on the porch during spring and summer, or by the hearth of an open fire during the winter in the tasting room; and for our many events throughout the year.
